As for Russia, those "attacks" come from weird places from an infrastructure and capacity point of view and I have doubts about it.
How often you or your clients have those ddos?

Friend of mine works at NetScout, so I think this is real. Most likely they got the locations from IPv4s, so that, of course, isn't too accurate.
