stor16 may have issues too. My VM has been stuck in fsck-on-boot for more than a day now and probably multiple days last week. @MikePT :-(

PM me the ticket id I will check it tomorrow 👍

Same problem, same node - stor16
    Ticket #311016

Interesting. I got this reply about the FSCK issue. Doesn't make sense since the VNC is totally stuck. Can't change anything there.

You'll need to access VNC in order to try to repair the file system, that's not related to the host node, it runs on its own LVM partition. (Miguel V... @ L3 Support)

Or maybe a new series of scrubs?
(depending on the fs they used)

If you count the amount of money you pay monthly against the number of days you can use the service, it's not that cheap anymore..

Ironically my dedicated server I have with them (suffering unusable network connectivity months ago) is now running better than ever. I never ever had such a flat SmokePing Graph there (0.0 ms sd from Romania to Frankfurt). Now where all the VPS seedboxes died..

I was able to fix the FSCK issue in noVNC (in their CP). 🎉🥳 Maybe useful for you, @alvin @D3n3y . Basically you need to choose Resume in the power menu. I assume the VM pauses when it encounters a disk error??

That's not even accounting for labour to deal with down servers, opening tickets, making alternate servers, etc. I value my time.

Takes time to compose a somewhat ‘encrypted’ response.

What do people use hostsolutions for? I got one before it was so unstable that I can barely do anything with it.

Probably seedboxes or VPN. There is also some idle enthusiasts which love to support cociu via VPS purchase a.k.a donations.

Nothing to "disculpe me", but i think a fan problem can have any of "top" providers from here so ... Stor2 is all fixed now and no problems. All this happened in a weekend with a huge religion holliday. So enjoy

Probably they will enjoy with demands for compensation. By the way, what was the religion holiday?

  • I'm here to see the excuse this time. Its always something entertaining.
This is easily the only provider that is constantly having issues, yet everyone is loving them. I don't get it.

Seriously? A bad fan took down an entire storage cluster?

a bad fan in a full node yes is caused this because the thermal shut down protection is enabled to protect the node.

The backup cooling system failed as well?

Edit: I was going to ask why the alerting system failed as well, but then I remembered who this provider is and laughed and laughed and laughed.

    True.

Come to think of it, cryptic is what it really is 😊

I guess the shit did hit the fan. I am not sure if it is chicken shit or or pig shit, but in any case it was smelly (maybe it was the perfume?).
