Thx but can you fix the period and the comma in the pricing? You have used both, leads to confusion..

  • Why always SYS or OVH ? Why no new Kimsufi flash sales ?

  • daozhidaozhi Member

    want Kimsufi flash sales too

  • serv_eeserv_ee Member

They probably dont have any meat on the bone to begin with when it comes to Kimsufi.

I think the prices are a bit high compared to Hetzner

I only indicated price without commitment :). On the deals page, Rise LE 1 and Advance LE are showed with 12 months commitment (=5% off to the price showed here)

I just started the normal public cloud free trial this month and used most of it trying to get a custom distro installed so I'm guessing I'm not eligible for the new 100€ free trial :(

He's referring to the decimal separator. You've used decimal for OVH offers, and comma for SyS offers in your post.

Saved you some digging on the $100 public cloud voucher. Think i'll bite.

_The activation code for this voucher is only valid between 26th May 2020 at 6:00 AM (EDT) and 9th June 2020 at 9:00 AM (EDT) and the voucher must be activated when you create a new project in the OVHcloud Control Panel. The credit is valid for a duration of two (2) months, and is automatically deducted in full from your next bill. _

It doesn't say it has to be your first new project, so it sounds like I could just create a new project with new instances and move my failover IPs to it.

TBH all these 250 and 500 Mbit deals are a no-go for me. 5 years back this might have worked, but nowadays even remote locations have gbit home fibre or copper connections. So all these offers are as good as the latest ScamAway deals posted here. Sorry OVH, Hetzner has taken the lead nowadays, support and price-wise.

If Hetzner peering works for you they are 100% the way to go.

    Uh, no.

I live exactly in the center of my city (its a big place for us) and all I can get is 4G at best. So anywhere from 2mb/s to 60 depending on my neighbors and other assholes who torrent all day on the same tower.

200 meters away - fiber all around. Last I asked them when is it going to reach me I got "Not in the next 4 years".

Id kill for a stable 100 meg connection right now.

90% of my customers are from the EU. The rest is beeing served via Hetzner->CloudFlare which is still better than OVH.
