Low End Dedi for Minecraft Server

Hello everyone,

I was looking around for a Low End Dedicated server with around 16gig ram and a i5 or something in that range to move my Minecraft server to.

At peak we have around 15-18 players mostly based in europe and I am using a shared host who charges based on ram. I plan to move to a dedi and saw Kimsufi had some pretty good deals however they are out of stock and only have servers available in Canada which I think would make my players game play not that good.

What do you guys suggest? My budget is around $20-$30/mo.

Thanks in advance

    You may checkout https://en.metadedi.net/

    EU:

If you want decent support, go with Hetzner, a few bucks more, or:
    https://alphavps.bg/clients/cart.php?a=add&pid=263

    US:
    https://www.wholesaleinternet.net/cart/?id=151

They have no SSD for that price.

    If you need one:

If you don't necessarily need a Dedi:

_Aquatis.host never let me down when I used them 2-3 years back:) Their Germany location is probably Hetzner but they provide Multicraft panel and more convenience stuff.

    https://aquatis.host/minecraft-hosting/

They also have a pretty active Discord channel (for support &more).

They also got a small 7 days free trial server _

  • Thank you Ympker for the suggestion but I want to move away from a shared host and move to a dedi entirely.

Thanks to everyone for the responses. I think I will be going with Hetzner.

No worries. Just thought it was worth the mention due to daily Backups, moving service, Multicraft Panel and other features being so comfy :) Ofc can't replace dedicated hw so dw :)

I'm curious if you've actually tried them for minecraft, because this is straight from their TOS:

The following are strictly prohibited uses and may result in immediate suspension and/or termination if discovered on Your account:

    • Minecraft and its variations and anything related to Minecraft including control panels or websites about Minecraft.
(Yes, we mean it. We will not make any exceptions.)

    Kinda harsh, but ok alphabg...

Well, I do make recommendations based on the hardware spec's, that's all.
If I would knew that limitation sure I would not have mentioned it.

Besides, that means just he does not want DDoS magnets on his network.
