mrvm reverse ssh

barusobaruso Member

Hi guys Just purchased a mrvm newyork vps. I am trying to port forward my plex instance using reverse ssh (I don't want to use nignx). My issue is I can't seem to get the specified ports to forward.

ssh -R 5000:127.0.0.1:32400 [email protected] -p(ssh port)

replace 0.0.0.0 with ipv4 adress assigned by mrvm
remove parenthesis and just add port number not 22

https://clients.mrvm.net/knowledgebase/23/External-IP.html

I used the NAT ports specified on my client dashboard. Is their any firewall rules on my dashboard to accomplish this task or is their something wrong with the terminal command above? Please advise

Also this is the tutorial I was using, it worked with my digital ocean instance in the past.
