how to disable cached and buffers on Cento 5 64bit
becouse this eat my memory usage, just 1 day then my meory increase 1GB again
i must every day to restared my vps
i has been optime all my apcahe and msql configuration but still not effect
Buffers 37 MB
Cached 169 MB
i need that disable
please help

You dont need to do anything about those, they will be freed when memory is needed, in the meantime will just help speeding up the server.
Caching is good you know. Don't waste all that free memory.

@nonuby, that is also true. The actual calculation is much more complicated than what free -m reported, but in general I find the numbers good enough for my use, it may not be the case for others though.

just write : -o sync or what ?
no, when you mount a drive you can use that option to disable buffering.
In general, dont worry about this. Ram is so cheap these days.
