cost problem, china network can't allways stable.
yes,May Singapore NTT is expensive.But why they US west coast Datacenter route is pass they east coast......
It same price but direct use west coast to China is better.
Please consider the DDoS protect over San Jose may not the best choice. In China, may route perform not very good.
