Basic Mode Editor in cPanel not working for PHP.INI Editor.

MridulMridul Member

Hello,

Has any one faced this issue ? When i try to edit the php.ini in cpanel ( using MultiPHP INI editor ), the text Editor works fine. But the 'Basic Mode' Editor is showing just session.save_path option/directive ONLY. All the other options are missing ( though they are present in the text editor )

Text Editor is fine :

Basic Mode is Not :

Please advise.

Is PHP-FPM installed ? Try disabling that.

  • You may use ALT-PHP by CloudLinux instead of PHP-FPM.

Had this exact same issue the other day on a new install.

Please check if /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/etc/phpini_directives.yaml is empty/exists.

    If It doesn't exist, run:

    /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/upcp --sync

Update the system’s installed version of cPanel & WHM and do not download a newer version. This option ensures that the current version installed has the correct files.
