Windows requires a minimum of 2GB RAM nowadays, even that I wouldn't recommend. Out of interest what are you looking to do on the box?
@aonaphost Win Server 2012 works on 512 MB or 1 GB. So it helps to be more specific with the version you are referring to.
Apologies, was referring to 2 GB for Server with Desktop Experience installation option.

@AlienData_Josh Win 2016 and 2019 do require more than 1 Gb. 2012 runs fine on 1 Gb - I currently have 2012R2 w IIS running fine at buyvm and amazon lightsail. 2010 not worth discussing as you can't license it for a datacenter. So when discussing windows, again, its best to be specific as to what version and what add-ons (IIS, Sql, etc) you plan on running.
Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016 and 2019 are as ISO file available in English.
However, it is also possible to add new iso files at the request of customers.
