Dedi Server Required with good DDOS protection

HostMayoHostMayo Member, Host Rep

Due to recent episode of ddos attack on my server at wholesaleinternet I am planning to move my server to some other provider with good ddos protection. I recently saw hostmantis also moved from Hetzner to OVH and mentioend good ddos protection. This gives a very solid indication of how reliable OVH datacenters are...but I'm open to suggestions. My preferred specs are 24 core cpu with 500 Gb ssd under 100 usd.

Maybe it's worth mentioning the type and size of attack you suffered.

Plus, if you're looking in close proximity to EU, you could also consider @Clouvider

  • any preferred location of this server ? and how much bandwidth do you need ?

    So many cores
    So little budget
And DDoS traffic on top of it.

    Something has to give.

How much RAM and bandwidth are you looking for? Also any specific location?

QuickPacket has Voxility DDoS filtering in Charlotte and Los Angeles, and Arbor filtering in Manchester. 24 core server with that budget will be tough, but PM me if you'd like a quote.

    Thanks.

  • I'll just throw this out there - @Zare

@ViridWeb not physical. Physical cores should be minimum of 6.

  • ZareZare Member, Host Rep

We cannot get any quote under $100 im afraid, but HostSlick offer looks good so i would recommend that.

  • ClouviderClouvider Member, Patron Provider

We should be able to offer 6 core CPU under or at $100 - reach out to the sales team and they will be happy to assist.

Thanks everyone but preferring US location. @QuickPacket has some plans that fit my criteria. Waiting for his reply.
