BGP virtual or dedicated Server in Brasil
Hello LowEndTalk Users and Providers
We are looking for a virtual or dedicated Server in Brasil with a Cross Connect / VLAN to the Internet Exchange ix.br (PTT São Paulo):
https://bgp.he.net/exchange/PTT São Paulo
We operate an Anycast Network (CDN and DNS) and want to reduce our latency in Brazil.
Furthermore we operate the Tunnelbroker.ch service, which we would like to offer in Brazil as well.
Can someone offer us this service or recommend a provider who can?
Best regards
Kevin

Could look at Maxihost as they operate in Brasil
ok thankyou. I will contact them
hostzone.com.br
We can help as well - https://lg.sao.psychz.net/

Try Maxihost but this service is quite expensive compared to other locations.
If you're just interested in more flexible routing policy, we can do it and save you some time :-)
Maxihost is great, used them briefly. Definitely expensive but everything in the region is.
Ok thank you all for the feedback, we are currently in contact with some Providers.
Goal is to reduce latency for our Anycast Network in Brazil that easily possible with Port to the IX there.
For better connection to our locations in Switzerland, Germany and United Kongdom is currently no need.

If your priority is to get lower latency connectivity between Europe and Brazil you should make sure to go with a provider connected to EllaLink which is the only fiber between Brazil/South America and Europe not going via the USA but directly to Portugal. As a nice side effect that would also give you a low latency gate into Africa. Another added bonus would be to have a (presumably) more secure connection due to avoiding passing through the USA.
Additionally you might want to look for a POP in Fortalezza rather than Rio/Sao Paolo region because that would offer a better balance over the full end point - end point route.
Take a look at https://bgp.services
We already contacted providers from this list, but none of them can offer IX connection.
Taking a quick look at the IX member list, I see xTom, ZenLayer and GCoreLabs - could always try asking them.
Has anyone ever tried https://www.worldstream.nl/en/dedicated/latam/info ?
Not yet but I will contact them as well, currently still searching for some offers;)
We will inform you if we order some service there.
