Hi all,

1blu is a german provider that offers pretty cheap vps from time to time. This time I could not resist and wanted to check them out. Offer non recurring, just first 12 month for this low price.
Edit: Also included for the price is one .DE Domain for the year wit mail service.

General

They have a manual provisioning process and you need to call them to approve the order. They do not offer IPv6 as far as I know.

Benchmarks

Done with preinstalled centos7 image.

    There's always Google translate. Some words or text may not make sense but you will get the gist of it.

    @pr0lz thx for the post

    Call for getting order approved that's shit

    Their deal, their terms. We can always move on if we don’t like. Calling is better than sending scan of ID or making a 20 Euro deposit

    I would be more worried about the optional domain and worse -renewal. This makes it a One euro a month toy For 12 months

    Thanked by 2t0m uptime

    Maybe they have some english speaking staff.
    They just want to know you customer number (you get that when you signup), the service you bought and the last 4 digits of your bank account. 2 minute call.

    It will be difficult if they don't have english speaking staff

  • Unmetered seems good will have to give it a try

  • Like OP said, it's a good deal for one year. With a .de domain and unlimited mailboxes as well (pretty bad spamfilter). I had to do a phone verification as well, they just wanted to confirm some details. Maybe just to prevent abuse on mass order this deal?
    Other orders, years before went through without calling.

    They still have no IPv6 for the "individual brand" and only offer it via their 1blu business brand. It's located in Frankfurt. OP mentioned as well, that the server is delivered with a pre-installed CentOS images. A small detail here, it is installed on Virtuozzo environment per default and you can switch manually to KVM-QEMU, upload your own iso, which I've done.
