I hope not since I got one 2 days ago haha
Wait what? Not getting Ryzen 3950X but got a Kimsufi?
I saw the KS before Bandit put the Ryzen out. I also paid renewal to Bandit that day too :-)
I got the KS for doing the dirty stuff (linux iso torrents, bloaty apps like sonarr/radarr/lidarr) which would be horrible of me to run on Bandit's service :-)
Wait what? Comparing VPS to a dedicated server, you are dumb or something?
How much do you want to bet that two core Ryzen 3950X VPS will beat the crap out of Kimsufi KS-3? Since I am so dumb, you will be happy to take up the bet, right?
Haha the KS-3 is working very hard but I would say even 1 core of that Ryzen would smash the 4 little baby cores of the Atom. Ryzen much stronger on plow, but don't want to dirty the Ryzen with shit from the shitfields in which it would be sent to plow :-)
I know you understand that not all servers are equal and some VPSes are more equal than some dedicated servers.
@dahartigan just a note that based on your account of how you are using Kimsufi, it seems to be the low end whore while the Bandit Ryzen 3950X is the high class escort.
Unlikely.
Haha that's a pretty decent analogy for how I use them. The business stuff, what I get paid to run, goes elsewhere altogether into a kind of "girlfriend experience package" situation to fit the analogy.
Don't let @HostDoc know you call 'im that! :-p
Isn't Kimsufi like on offer every day?
Did you ever DMCA for seeding public Linux ISOs? Or should I stick with Private Linux ISOs only?
I currently download public Linux ISOs from cociu servers then rClone Copy (via cron job) them to Kimsufi, then play them via Direct Play on Kimsufi on Plex, works great when File Format is H264, no transcoding needed.
You are "playing" in video linux ISOs ?!
I don't seed, firstly. I know it's bad, but that's how I avoid 99.99% of DMCA notices. If you're already set up with a private tracker and all that jazz perhaps just stick to what you're doing if it works.
