Hosting73 Shutting Down - LEB Host Dec 9, 2019

Yes, I know I am a moron. A long time ago, 2018 to be precise, I bought shared hosting and a OpenVZ VPS from an LEB deal that looked reasonable, and had good reviews. It has been OK, not great. BTW, I learned my lesson, and haven't even looked at an LEB deal for about one year.

Today, I get the email below. I think Hosting73.com is another brand for BigFootServers, another LEB host. See this LET thread:

I recently renewed both yearly services with my Amex card. So I will be filing chargebacks.

Here is my "you were a moron for buying" email:

Dear Customer,

Over the past few months we have been met with many challenges within the hosting business. Some that have not been overcome.

As result of this we will be closing our doors. We will be shutting down this Monday 12/9/2019. We are taking this time to let our customers know so that they may backup and retrieve all of their data before then.

We deeply apologize for this inconvenience.

Your lucky. I got the exact same email for Kudohosting, shared hosting account as well. The only reason I didn't receive it for hostedsimply is that I cancelled my account for an unusable OpenVZ VPS earlier.

If I am not mistaken, BigFootServers still accept orders, as well - and they do not handle cancellations automatically.

Looks like same group of people hastily abandoning their numerous hosting businesses.
