@HostDoc https://kvm.doctor/sg-nvme-kvm/ but do check with their SG plans are. The HDD KVM Plan is in the lower end of your budget range, the NVMe is worth considering.

    Also check on @ServerHunter https://serverhunter.com/?search=210-CAF-D83

    ExtraVM @MikeA

Both Vultr and DigitalOcean have Singapore at $5 USD ($7~ SGD) for 1GB RAM. If you want DDoS protection my plans are $7 USD for 1GB RAM, 14GB SSD, but sometime in the future I plan to reduce all VPS pricing to $5/GB.

Vultr and DigitalOcean looks to be AWS type deals. I prefer the standard approach where you get a box and a OS installer. After OS is installed, you do what you want on it from SSH and configure it the way you want to.

You deploy VPS normally with them like any other really, they just have fancy purchase/installation pages.

Falls just within the 10 SGD upper limit that OP had indicated, though they hadn't mentioned DDoS :-)
And at $ 5 USD level I will be super tempted...

@somik I didn't think about it but I have a 512MB plan if you want to try it ($3.50 USD or $4.79 SGP), 3 day refund period if you don't want to keep it. 512MB RAM, 7GB SSD, 250GB BW.

@vyas11 I reduced price to $6 for 1GB RAM so it's inline with the rest. It was originally higher to cover fees and push people to get bigger plans, but since 512MB is available again I lowered it.

I'll take you up on that offer. It's well bellow my budget. Just to confirm, the server is in SG, right?

Do post results/ feedback. I might consider what @MikeA posted about new price points in a couple of weeks. Cheers!

Yes, it's Singapore, and those plans are on OVH, they're a different category because of price but they're considered the KVM Game line plans (they all use i7 CPUs, SSD or NVMe and have access to their game firewall.)

Once I go back home, I'll do that.

Great. Ordered and received it. Once I get some time, I'll configure it.

    Hi,

Vultr or DigitalOcean or UpCloud are not like AWS type deals, you should try them

For $5/m you can get 1GB Ram 25Gb SSD / 1TB deal from upcloud ($25 bonus)

For $6/m you can get 1GB Ram 32Gb NVMe High Frequency / 1TB deal from vultr ($50 bonus)

Currently I've signed up with ExtraVM for $2.5/m. I've yet to try the service as all I've done is ran bench mark and reinstall the OS. For me, the specs are just right and price is well bellow my budget. The ping time to my home is very low as well so it's good enough for now.

Thanks for your recommendations though. I'll look into those if I need additional VPS in SG.
