I'm planning to get 5 HP servers and colocate them in Osaka, Japan (2nd largest city in Japan).

This is the pricing and the server specifications

Dual E5-2689 (16 cores total / 2.6Ghz)
96GB ECC Memory
256GB or 512GB SSD

100Mbps Unmetered Port
1 dedicated IP

$194/month

This is the price of other providers
https://www.vultr.com/products/dedicated-cloud/#pricing
https://aws.amazon.com/lightsail/pricing/

Test IP : 210.171.202.51

Ping Test Results:

Tokyo = 10
Taiwan = 37
Beijing, China (Aliyun) = 82
JiangSu, China (China Mobile) = 85
ShangHai, China (Aliyun) = 84
Singapore = 80
Australia = 120
San Francisco & Los Angeles = 110〜120
Dallas = 140
New York = 150〜180
Europe = 220〜240<

Aliyun, Tencent, China Telecon, China Unicom and China Mobile = All UNDER 85 (no packet loss)

Are these servers demanded..?

    China Connection = In Demand

    EDIT: Looks like it routes via NTT :disappointed:

    Nobody wants to pay a proper price for China connection anyway, so the demand is moot.

  • spec and price look impressive. What type of support that support that you are planning to provide? are you going to depend on DC remote hands or are you from that area?
