domainbop We are not a UK based company and therefore the ICO will not need to be informed.

Coolnow, unfortunately we cannot provide none active customers with any sort of compensation.

You could provide former, existing and potential customers with an explanation, though. Because apart from the very short and badly-formed e-mail you sent, there's no information at all.

  • Odd @CastleServers, i have not received that 2nd email. Are you an active customer?

    Yes, I am. :)

Please don't start emails with "hey there"...

That's something I'd say to a recognisable face walking down the street, not a valued customer, particularly one who's part of your hacked dataset :)

  • LOL hey there baby!

  • Wanted to log in to change my password but seems my old password does not work anymore.. put in a ticket yesterday for a password reset, but no reply yet!

@ricardo, we value all customers. The greeting is informal and part of the ethos of our company. If people take offence by that we apologise.

  • @httpzoom

    Could you reset my password?

  • @httpzoom ... I certainly wouldn't be offended! I just think it doesn't do you any favours choosing to communicate in that manner.

  • @httpzoom can you explain why @CastleServers has received the mail explaining what details were stolen while i have not?

Dude, isn't it obvious? They stole your e-mail address, so they don't have it anymore!

  • @mpkossen - hahahahaha that just made me fall off my chair laughing, no really it did!!

@gsrdgrdghd emails were sent out to any client on our WHMCS install.

  • I received the mail too

  • Is @httpzoom on autopilot now? Noticed that the billing/support system is down and I havent received replies to my ticket I created on Saturday.

WHCMS is up for me, can't speak for your ticket responses but they've never been the quickest, plus the billing support team don't seem to work on the weekends based on past responses I've had.

    Hey,

We were doing some additional work on the WHMCS / billing portal which caused this to be down.

Emil, apologies for the delay. With the type of request you have we reply to the ticket once it is showing as online and correct.
