  • It will take a while, but you can use any IMAP client to move emails from one server to another. Thunderbird has a couple plugins to make it faster / more reliable.

    If this is you:

You can use mxlogin imap import tool to import emails and contacts from your previous provider.

Imapsync ... it even has an online client if you don't want to install it.

Imapsync is prem, I have a little box I use for it all the time.

OVH's Mail Migrator tool can do this for you(you don't need destination to be OVH).

Currently using OVH Mail Migration and seems to be working fine, slow for 50.000 emails, but fine.

I'm aware that the author of imapsync runs that page, but still: just type in the login details of two email accounts, just like that? Wow.

That's exactly what https://omm.ovh.net does too.

Server IP, user and password. you're all set.

    I must be old-school.

This said, I would be more inclined to trust OVH because they appear to require SSL/TLS for the connection and they also link to their Privacy Policy.

    But still.

Is it only your own email account or are you transferring users' accounts as well?

Not my email, one of my clients which was a total pain in the arse. Hopefully mxroute calms it down.
