Don't trust any formatting - only the real URL behind that hyperlink will tell you the truth.
If it was a phishing mail somebody would most likely try to embed a link which does not point to where it is supposed to do.
Have they referred to themselves as Brixly Ltd or just Brixly in any previous email they sent you?
It would be worth studying the full headers of the email because this would often reveal something.
Most mails ended with Brixly Web Solutions and were nicely formatted/designed. This one looks odd.
Seems very strange they would change their business name
Opened a ticket with them. Everyone that has gotten the E-Mail, be careful.
The link apparently expands to the very same link that you can read in the e-mail (according to http://wheredoesthislinkgo.com ), however it still looks sketchy and is no https link.
If I go to support.brixly.uk it’s unsecured non-https and click login it’s still unsecured. They use freshdesk and when I was look at fresh application range one off there apps didn’t have https as standard and you had to upgrade plans etc. Seems to be their support desk ticket system?
Usually, I do anything ticket related from my client area: https://client.brixly.uk/supporttickets.php
Seems like it was indeed them though. Props to Brixly for the quick reply at 23:54 CEST (german time):
@Ympker they responded in 10 minutes and you left them waiting for 12 minutes with your reply 😂. Good turn around from the guys over at Brixly and glad it’s all sorted. Does seem strange to run 2 independent ticket systems though.
Yeah. I mean, it does make sense. The weird formatting (unusual for them), the non https link (which was also different from the normal client.brixly.uk link) and the Ltd were making me hesitant to trust the e-mail though.
smells like a lawsuit
