I am not technical but how would you put these dedicated servers in order of best to worst?
RX100 S8
DELL POWER EDGE R410
CISCO C220 M3
X3250 M4

Depends on what are you planing to use the server for, IBM servers are decent.
Depends on the specific CPU models and other specs of each, plus what you want to use each for.. but just based on what generation CPU they support:
RX100 S8 - E3v3
CISCO C220 M3 - E5 v1/v2
X3250 M4 - E3v2
DELL R410 - X55xx/X56xx
Thanks
I am going to put some personal sites and a few other like 10 sites or so KVM
but they are mostly wordpress , cms and resource intensive with a lot of plugisn
what server should I use from below?
its totally depend on your need and what type and how much traffic your website are getting.
Try to bench the resource usage per site on avg and peak cases. Then you can allocate or pick proper resource for that.
x5650 and E5606 are crap, the best one is 1st E3-1230v3 and the second one is E5-2620
What @bacloud said, 1 or 3. 20GB ram should be enough for what you're doing, and that's a good high clock CPU. #1 would be my pick.
I must have missed the memo -- what on earth can be so resource intensive with a few Wordpress plugins that you are looking at a dedicated Xeon with 20-32GB of RAM o_O ?
Thanks but If I am choosing from
E3-1231 v3 @ 3.40GHz
E3-1230v3
E5-2620
The winner is ? E3-1231 v3 @ 3.40GHz ?
Yep. Although it's pretty much on par with the 1230v3, very minor difference
