Hetzner server auctions - Windows allowed or only linux?

So, long story short, i have seen people mentioning great deals in server auctions, so i will be looking to grab up for myself.
Only thing i have to ask is, Whether i can install windows os, windows 10 or server (any) without paying monthy or can i bring my own license.

Or Crack. Ask for KVM console and put custom ISO file you downloaded from TPB.

Or Install Proxmox and make one Windows KVM VPS with all server resources.

As long as you wont advertise the fact to them, they don't mind.

Yeah you can do that if you want. Not my bag of tea, but to each their own.

Do not recommend to use cracked licenses if any important data will be used. I do not recommend to use illegal licenses at all

You can install windows via KVM. They provided KVM for free for 3 hours..

what about using my student license from Microsoft? i believe i have legal rights to it? supports 1 machine only though

You can install whatever OS but they won't provide support for it. Student licences are fine.

But the three hours is three for each request or you get "three for life" and if you use past that they will charge?

If you want to maintain a server on the evil public internet, you should be able to properly deploy a safe and working initial configuration of your operation system in definitely less than three hours.

Three per request, sometimes you can get more if you ask nicely in the ticket.
