I cant think of any reason at all that it would not.

It's a kernel module by default. Has OVZ7 changed the way that works? Otherwise you have to go with a userspace daemon written in Go and can be kind of annoying.

I have automation in place for users to be able to enable full net filter without having to ask, this is in place outside of solusvm.

I wrote the scripting specifically to get around these sorts of problems that end uses face with containers.

I also allow users to self enable fuse and nfs.

You are probably not used to seeing this with containers on other hosts, with Inception hosting though, I cant imagine it being an issue.

If for some reason what I have in place is not enough I will do what is required to enable self service, automation is key to keeping prices low :)

  • @AnthonySmith : You said the OVZ7 will be available in the UK this Aug, is there any plan for big discount like this? I would like to have big storage with DA then, so considering if I will wait :-)

  • Couldn't resist any more. I just hope I'll find a use for it.

It was a bit tougher than expected rolling this out, UK will happen hopefully in Aug but unlikely to be at this price.

I might have a noisy neighbour. Here's the speedtest result I've done just now.

    Retrieving speedtest.net configuration...
Testing from ALFA TELECOM s.r.o. (x.x.x.x)...
    Retrieving speedtest.net server list...
Selecting best server based on ping...
Hosted by Damecon B.V. (Rotterdam) [0.86 km]: 12.157 ms
    Testing download speed................................................................................
    Download: 15.39 Mbit/s
    Testing upload speed................................................................................................
    Upload: 3.90 Mbit/s

Got similar results with different servers.

Had a few tickets similar, every one of the hitting Damecon via Speedtest.net (the residential isp testing service)

The issue is with the test source, but feel free to pop a ticket in if you don’t get the same results as I did on a customers VPS that asked for help with that issue once you have used some known sources e.g.

low upload speed because speedtest utility have bug not because of provider. This error on ubuntu 18.04 and Debian 10. I thinks because speedtest version 2.0.

You are 2 weeks late, I don't like doing deals beyond the deadline (WAAAAY PAST the deadline) as it makes it a bit pointless and devalues special offers when you make them.

Delete it from your "Special Offer" / "Limited Offers" page then, as I keep clicking on the offer again an again just to be disappointed! :D

How rude of me, I will get that done as soon as I have a minute.
