I had a sudden flashback to the year 2000.
I've had a sudden flashback to the year 2001.
A Usenet Odyssey ?
No idea what you guys are talking about
Are the blocks still on sale? $1 reoccuring would be nice but for just one month I don't think it's worth the effort.
Many wonderful, sometimes sucky, memories.
I'm missing 1 part too many for the par files dammit!
That 1 USD block promotion is different from this deal and has expired
I feel sad i that shouldnt posted it here
A block account means that much bandwidth for life (i.e as long as provider doesn't go out of business)
This is a normal account you can generally easily hit 100Mbps with Normal accounts 24/7 and even more with premium providers
Haha it's good that you didn't. I have close to 4tb in blocks and use around 100gb a month.
Where did you purchase 4tb ?
Ahhh Usenet... flashback... good memories!
All from different providers. Mostly 500gb blocks for $5 bought from sales posted on reddit.com/r/Usenet the best sales (other than this one) seem to be posted around black Friday.
I faxed it to all my pals. GL with sales!
TweakNews would be happy to hear about your that
Well if most of them are providers of one it really doesn't seems justified that you purchase more than one
Maybe not but the price was right. Some are different backbones, some are the same.
That's why I didn't get it. Since my DSL provider switched to "new generation" (VoIP) my fax is often unreliable.
Could you please drum it or send it by smoke signalling?
Btw, did you hear about that "internet" stuff too? Seems to gain traction.
Did you hear about IPoAC ?
Seems more reliable than UUCP.
No, but i guess it's evident that it means "internal postal altercation committee"
Huh?
Oh, I see, you are one those techies at the bleeding edge.
Usenet still exist??? I thought most were dead.
That's what they want you to think.
