Dedicated server with SSD in europe?

LunicsLunics Member
edited May 2019 in Requests

Hi,
I'm looking for the best deal on a dedicated server in europe with SSD (120GB+). A small server is good enough: 2+ GB RAM and 2+ cores.
Scaleway's offering doesn't count, it's too "virtual" (the storage)
Ideally it'd be something like the Kimsufi KS-2 SSD which isn't available at the moment as far as I know.

Virtual Storage? Are you looking at their dedicated servers or VPSs (with their "dedicated cores")?

One Provider reselling Scaleway/Online (1 euro cheaper)

Well i was hoping for something around 12€/month or less.
Shouldn't be more expensive than a Kimsufi server with a 500GB HDD, should it?

This is most likely one of the cheapest you would find (outside of Kimsufi) - maybe worth trying Scaleway or Digicube as they have similar prices.

Selection of small dedicated servers, from 19 €/month, setup 0€

  • Used to play with https://abcvg.net/notinstall.php -- was happy with it. No installation fee there and also chances to catch something of closed tariffs.

Their datacenter is in Wormer indeed. At the DataOne DC (they are affiliated to Ecatel in some kind. Not a good reputation.)

Also, please note the address mentioned by @skbenterprise is a virtual office. I don’t do business with virtual offices as it seems to be shady to me.

Ecatel does not exist anymore, so the datacenter is not related to Ecatel.

    Hi,

We choose not to register the company address on the private address of the owner but instead, we use a 'virtual office' to act as the address and receive our mail.

Nothing shady about a forwarding address, many startups don't want their private address publicly available, but I could see why you think that way.

    False.
Doesn't matter if it's called Quasi Networks/Novogara/FiberXpress/IP Volume now. It's still the same bulletproof host.
