We've been selling a yearly VPS for $15 with the following specs:
We support custom ISOs and FreeBSD is available. Locations: Ashburn and Fremont
Could you please provide some test ips for available locations?
Their test IP/looking glass for Fremont:

Ashburn:

@donli Tanx!
Virtono has "cloud mini" for 9.95/y in several locations: https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/156670/european-locations-kvm-1-core-512m-15g-ssd-or-openvz-1-core-512m-20g-ssd-only-9-95-year
@Abdullah might open sales again for his 15$/y boxes in a few days: https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/2974517/#Comment_2974517
Both providers would allow to install FreeBSD.
We have a looking glass available here: http://lg.freerangecloud.com
Test IPs for Fremont: 23.129.32.65
Ashburn: 23.152.224.33
I should mention the order link for the $15/yr VPS is hidden, shoot me a PM and I'll happily provide it.
for €12 per year
You can upload your own FreeBSD iso and install it via our VNC console.
Test IP: 185.211.51.1
Test IP (DDoS protected): 151.80.54.129
My advice: Don't take the Virtono but the finalhost VPS. It's considerably more bang for the buck for just 2€ more. I benchmarked both under FreeBSD and the numbers are clear.
In case you want Anti-DDOS it's even more of a no brainer.
(Don't get me wrong, I like my Virtono Cloud Mini and while finalhost is limited to NL, Virtono has multiple locations. But if you can live with a NL location, finalhost is the best cheap KVM by far at the moment).
+1 for @jordynegen11 and finalhosting

It's a custom offer. (Should have say that) If you want this offer, please send me a PM, an email or send us a support ticket.
zKVM 256 VPS:
256MB RAM / 1 Core / 5GB SSD / 1TB @ 1Gbps port / 1 IPv4 and 16 IPv6 / FreeBSD - $15/year
Available locations: Amsterdam, London, Stockholm, Ashburn, Chicago and Toronto
Our looking glass. Feel free to contact us via live-chat on our website if you would like to order VPS or have any questions.
Your zKVM 256 VPS costs €64,37/year, which is very far from $15/year, so please stop this nonsense.
It's worth to mention that this is a special price for LET visitors. To get the lowered price just leave a link to this topic in a note during the order or contact us via live-chat. Easy peasy
Okay, but then you should have said this explicitly in your comment to begin with, for otherwise it just looks like clickbait, given that your normal prices are nowhere near LET prices.
Thanks for your comment. Will do it the next time for sure
I also thought that the cap was lower than half a core. If the cap is too low for your use, you can contact their support, they might fix that and let you use more.
Times like this I wish Aruba still did their 1 euro boxes.
Do your UK IPs work with BBC iplayer?
Geolocation of our IPs match the country where they are assigned. So yes, they should work fine.
Nuh, for me it's not a problem and I like my cheap little Virtono VPS - but then I know and understand what can be expected for 10€/y. And I use it accordingly (e.g. NS slave).
My statement wasn't in any way against Virtono. I actually like what I get from them. My statement was against unrealistic expectations and it was to show the real performance (which is absolutely not in the range of "50% of a Nehalem class core") also of the quite slow disks.
We loved our 1€ boxes too!
However our priority is to constantly improve the quality of our services. For this reason we have adjusted the price of our VPS Small solution, which now starts from 2.79 € per month, but on the other hand now you have the possibility to choose the datacenter in which you want to host your infrastructure.
But we no longer want to choose the datacenter because you no longer have 1€ boxes.
Yes but no one cares they just want 1 EUR box.
FWIW: One could chose the DC even with the 1€ VPS. It's just that one could not simply change and switch which now seems to be possibel (but frankly, of little value for most).
