Please try to do it properly standards based like RPKI, ROA, etc. if you are going to do it as a new thing.. I absolutely despise it when upstreams demand physical signatures on an easily-spoofable worthless letter instead of some cryptographically signed message that can be validated against the IP space's own issuer.
