Aulerion Shutdown imminent?
I recently signed up with Aulerion - things were going well, then today I see their homepage is replaced with a message: http://www.aulerion.com/

never heard of them before,,, something is not right... lets ask @deank if he can smell anything
fishyhere. It was never posted on LET, since the guy got kicked from LET.
Even links to it got removed.
Time for chargebacks I guess. I apologize to anyone I have recommended them..
Something never worked quite right with them. I had VMs stuck that never provisioned, VMs that would kick me out of ssh when doing an apt update, anycast IPs that didn't work. Just general crappyness. That's $5 down the drain.
I smell kids' operation by a fact that the guy can't be arsed to put commas between zeroes.
Remove 3 zeroes from the amount and you get the picture.
Remove 2 zeroes if you believe him.
If this is how they informed their clients then this is inexcusable. It's just awful.
Damnit. USD 50 at stake here. How many more meals to skip for this
At least better than escape without any informed.
That's true. Now feeling much better about lost 50.
Edit: of course not. Let PayPal handle this.
It's time for you to try McDonald's Dollar Menu:
Do you know of anything cheaper? Just in case.
the PayPal dispute is critical at this time
Beans & rice.
Wasn't the owner involved in some other OVH charity host?

I heard Jeff Bezos has the big & most nutritious beans/balls.

Just backup whatever you have with them while you still can and move on. Do not bother your brains with questions "did they going to deadpool if suddenly home page replaced with RIP letter?". Backup. Move on.
Now re-read the announcement.
DOZEN hours spent on a project. Cba to spend more time on it.
Not quite the one I was remembering. There was some host that was doing a ton of free/cheap stuff but had collected a lot of IP space at OVH. In the end he closed the brand then was trying to sell IP transfers.
But, now I'm remember that thread.

Too bad. They had a nice thing going. They could have been big imo.
Fake it till you make it I'd say Like Flobo's routers did terabits of traffic, so clearly DDoS shouldn't be an issue.
To be honest their panel, UI and UX were better than 95% of providers here, some of who don't even bother to customize WHMCS.
Plus the anycasted IP was unique only to them and buyvm but they had more locations and it worked more fluently.
So I totally believe they invested $30k into it. Too bad they are closing down, especially without a few months of notice
Is anycast IP really such a hugh thing for LET guys?
It’s really a pity that they’re growing too fast beyond customer needs.
I keep getting mails of people complaining that i shut them down and to use their Aulerion credits as they can't be paid out there with my companies for services (wtf?).
Not my investment/ISP, i have nothing to do with them (well, as far as i remember) - at most they are an IP customer (that was moved to other business, cba to look) meaning i am actually losing money as one of the first.
Stop mailing me, i don't care about your loss - tho i might throw some $ the way that tells me why the fuck this people annoy me.
It's probably due to some of their IP space got your email address listed in the whois, am quite sure SquareFlow is Aulerion might wrong.

nice, now i see at least what i will not get paid for :')
I have VPS's with them I just let idle and I never used. They offered a good product. I thought they'd only keep growing and become a major player. It's definitely a pity and unfortunate. They could have used more advertising and PR.
