What VPN do you use on your server?
Simple question, what VPN do you use on your server? I personally love SoftEther.. but I see a lot of people still using OpenVPN, which I think is a bit restrictive. Also, curious on if any others out there that are "worth" considering.

Wireguard
I'm still with OpenVPN but only when I'm connected to public wifi. And that's only few times in a year.
Good luck with your "privacy".
Personally, I think exposing your car plate is the biggest threat to privacy. Do you know how much info you can pull out of license plate number?
Pretty much everything.

NSA told me to not use a VPN.

Curious: How is the android client support now?
wg seems like what I'd go with for server-to-server.

No idea, I’m using their iOS client
This. OpenVPN previously, wireguard is way faster and doesn’t reconnect for WiFi/LTE handoffs. It’s amazing.
I like my Pritunl setups, lazy mans install.

PPTP for performance, L2TP w/IPSEC for security.
I use my own VPN developed using VB6 and MD5 which is the most secure hash ever. It puts me behind seven proxies for maximum security.

While mostly accurate, I can think of a few good reasons to use a VPN and have a paid VPN service. Like I said before, I use PPTP for performance if I need better routing or to bypass throttling. If I need to access my home network or any other private network from somewhere else then a VPN is also extremely helpful. As for having a paid VPN service, I'll always have a PIA account because it's great for troubleshooting and for the performance reason I mentioned before.
check TunSafe for android.
I use OpenVPN with my own VPN on it and Windscribe for sometimes.
