Switch to colo as option or is possible to continue with the service?

You can switch to colo plan once the 12 months is up, or remove the hardware (with remote hands charge and have it shipped), you can also keep it as a rental so they replace hardware in the event of failure.

    network gateway broadcast etc

Not exactly understand this, but why they wrote /30 if it's really 1 ip available at server?

Because you are assigned a /30, they take one IP for gateway, one for broadcast and you have the other IP for your use.

    And other question:
Dacetec servers come with KVM? It's it possible to manage it at boot process?

Not typically, unless the server has it and you get an additional network port IIRC, you can ask them to attach a Lantronix FOC for KVM access when required though (not 24/7 attached).

The entire /30 can not be used for other customers. The whole /30 is really yours. You are just required to use some parts of it for connecting to the network.

I'm used to 3 addresses being used for whatever (e.g. frequently you get a /29 with 5 usable addresses). Gateway and broadcast are two of them, what is the third? Do the big dedi hosts that assign 1 address per machine also do this /30 allocation behind the scenes? That would be millions of addresses inaccessible. Thx.

The network is the bottom most one below the gateway. It marks which subnet you're on.

Is this mean that other providers share ips with other customers under the hood? Is there any real advantages to have own gateway and broadcast ips?

The pricing is on Dacentec's website: https://billing.dacentec.com/hostbill/colocation-lenoir.php

1U = $40 per month, 2 amps probably covers most of Dacentec's servers but you might want to ask them to verify the power usage of a specific server.

Im thinking on some reduced price, isnt sane to be more than the first price.

Of course that for new colo price on website is ok.

We've converted some RTO servers before to colo and the price was just as shown on their website but there may well be something different since then to get a lower price.
