This happened due to Psychz Texas outages: 30 mins + 2 hours (2 times network outages) + Our migration to the new rack: 22hours downtime (which psychz messed up as well) :D

Edit2: None of UK servers was down in the last few months

And this has been well-informed to clients as well as compensations.

Oopsie, let me edit the coupon, as it was only intent for monthly orders. Will surely throw in 2 months free for every orders on annual basis.

    Edit: This has been adjusted.

Edit2: The homepage is being updated with the new location ;)

Well, you better keep it idle.
20 Cores and up to 90 Windows VM's.

    Better keep it idle.

Can you explain more about vcore? What GHz / allowed dedicated usage?

It does say unlimited vCore, and then says they would limit to 50% if CPU is abused.

Does not add up, unless they're stocking number of cores = number of boxes per server.

    Doubt.exe with the pricing.

Although the node itself is 192 GB RAM, we won't deploy that much equal to VMs, and keep ratio at 50% thread. Let's do some math:

20 Cores - 40 threads -> up to 80 VMs allowed to be deployed (we have no lower package than 2GB RAM as 2GB is ideal RAM amount to run Windows) -> 160GB RAM worth.

I know this make no sense to have that much of un-used RAM, having 160GB RAM node built up even sounds weirder lol, our mainboard is X9DRW-IF which supports 16 RAM sticks, our server build has 12*16 GB sticks which is the perfect number allowed (you can't run 10 RAM Sticks on a dual CPU server)

50% is a soft cap by the way, we allows everyone to burst to 100% of a thread for a period of time or while the node is underloaded.

Edit: to anyone that wonder why we chose X9DRW-IF, it's because this mainboard's layout allows us to fit 2 x PCIE card in a 1U chasis. Others like: X9DRi-LN4F make it impossible to do so.

Edit2: And if you are planning to run NVMe, do yourself a favor and stay away from X9DRi-LN4F as the performance is terrible lol

Unlimited vCore is that you can run 100% CPU inside your VPS without issue, we do caps on our hypervisor side, so you can have a peace of mind using all your CPU without worrying about in-VPS usage.

^ This is due to people complaining Virmach CPU usage suspension, which caused frustration. We acknowledge that and decided to do this on our setup to avoid such issues ;)

And please, the coupon is the idle joke around forums, it's never intended to tell you guys to fully idle the VM :D

Currently not as our provisioning system not supports IPv6, hopefully it will be implemented this summer ;)

    Too much for a trojan.

Our images are highly optimized (disabled not needed services, features, update to critical patch, cleanup updates, ...) and both Windows 2012 R2 / 2016 takes ~13 GB on a clean installation of our service.

Chrome and Net Frameworks (all versions) are installed by default as those 2 are quite essentials for everyone running Windows VPS nowadays!

Our plan is to have https://chocolatey.org installed by default in the next image update ;)

  • just ordered and paid. Still waiting on approval.

Some orders placed but not paid after 24 hours have been canceled and more quantity has been added to the pool (~12) ;)
