Currently running a Hetzner box with nvme, ddr4 and a 9900k in Helsinki. Im running proxmox on it, and have some unused IP adresses left on my /27 subnet. Therefore, i want to give some to the community here for free, because i am new here. Please pm me what you need it for and what you need of specs. Looking for creative people who have projects, gameservers or things like that, so someone out there can enjoy the extra resources im not using. Can offer both openvz and kvm, linux and Windows (trial version, you will have to activate yourself).

Just make sure you protect yourself from abuse, especially with Hetzner's stance on torrents (pretty much zero tolerance if memory serves me right). Cheers!
I have 15TB of content stored on this server, all downloaded and seeded on the same ip. Never a issue. That said, i only use private trackers.
Make sure to give us your horror story(ies) later. Free stuff always end in manly tears. Never saw an exception on LET.

OP is trying to start a biz this way. We've seen some do it before.
Right. My point is, people who get free servers generally don't care if they generate abuse complaints by using public trackers w/o proxy or if they burn IPs send out mass emails. Just be careful Hetzner doesn't cut you off for someone else's activity.
Thank you for your warning. Hetzner will not just cut it off without notice, and if i get notices, i will simply take the vps down.

A couple of formal criteria that you could introduce are (i) having been a member of LET for at least n months and (ii) having at least m meaningful posts. Just a suggestion ...

If you recall, @Angerstorm, we've had a very similar thread from someone who started out exactly like this and scammed few grands out of people.
Well, I admit that I do find it odd/surprising that someone so new to LET would offer VPSes for free in his second post.

I do not know much about history of this community, as I am a recent member, but I did search and found "Nano KVM" and "Free Mach". Did those projects end in tears or with scandal?
Maybe you are the one who wants to see "The End", or need some horrific ending with panic and despair, for all free projects.

I have no other accounts here on lowendtalk. It is true that my Linux experience is limited, but i have been running proxmox for several years. I do this for several reasons, one of them is learning.
So far i only got one request here who seems serious, and he have some time on those forums, so i will give him one. If he wants to, he can post here himself

I would just say that check the user history on LET before you give free VPS access. This is for your own good. Due diligence is critical for what you are offering.
