Based on your reaction, maybe you are not privacy minded, nor serious?

Any decent user would take care not to piss on a reputable provider's offer thread.
Based on all your posts so far, maybe you didn't learn manners, nor refrained from pissing in public, pants down bottoms out?

@packetnext You have yet to explain wtf does taking buttcoin have to do with being a serious privacy minded provider? You have this weird fetish for hostsailor also. It is kinda of creepy!

Michael, I'm still seeing mostly telia when checking with ping.pe from all over the world.

    Any word on more upstreams?

We have a cross connect to InterXion going live on 01.04 and will add the first new Carrier between 01.04 and 08.04 (depending how fast InterXion is deploying the patch).

    What is the situation now?

Cross connect is there and we deployed our switch on interXion site. sadly one of the wdm modules we got is faulty (it is working with a short lwl cable in between, that's the reason we didn't find the error during our testing) and is unable to establish connection over the distance although the distance is less than 10% of the distance it is certified for. The replacement modules should arrive today (we are waiting for ups to deliver them).

Modules arrived 5 minutes ago. We will deploy them tomorrow morning and activate the session right after it.

You should buy SFPs for the appropriate distance. Too powerful laser can detoriate the RX on the other side or even cause the other side to switch off to protect the optics. Use attenuators if needed.

Thanks for your input but that was not the problem. The module just had a production failure. It was too weak and not too strong. We received the replacement and everything is working now.

    What does such a cogent bgp session cost? v4 / v6 / v4&v6 ? Just asking.

Depending on how much you commit, you can expect something between 20-60 Cents per Mbit Commitment with Cogent. We even had a sales guy offering us 40 Cent for 1000Mbit Commitment on 20G connectivity.

Got it, sounded like he wanted to know what Cogent Transit costs - however the last time I've talked to them was at around 2016 and we decided against (sales was quite annoying).

Yeah your mentioned price is 2016 . Most Tier 1 I know are below 40cent for 1gbit commitment now.
