@HostDoc will give you advise. he has asia vps. please wait for his reply he might have offers for you m8.
I am not sure but @MikePT has KVM located in Singapore and it has a DDoS protection as well. I don't think "high" bandwidth can be offered since it is in Asia so you know what I mean.
@Frameworks I'm guessing you meant to tag me, if so you're right, bandwidth is too expensive there and I don't oversell it, so I couldn't. His best bet is finding someone who sells OVH and pays for extra bandwidth or doesn't mind the 10Mbps limit. Maybe OP should buy multiple OVH VPS directly since they have 1TB limits.
Many providers in China mainland sell DDoS protection dedicated server. Around 120$ for 100Gbps protection and 100M port.
But they have poor connectivity to other region in asia. sometimes trffic goee through the US or Japan NTT, high latency and horribly slow speed.
Asia is very big.
I think.
Therefore you are.
sorry for asking noob quesion, but why not use cloudflare for handling ddos ?
Hope you got a large budget.
Asia + Cheap + DDOS protection + High bandwidth - Select 2 of them.
Here are some scenarios:
Cheap + Asia with = without DDOS protection and low bandwidth
Cheap + High bandwidth = not in Asia and probably without DDOS protection
Asia + High bandwidth = not cheap, DDOS protection may be possible
Cheap + DDOS protection = low bandwidth and not in Asia.
High Bandwidth + DDOS protection = not cheap and not in Asia
Asia + DDOS protection = not cheap and low bandwidth
I'll use the vps for application server (TCP)
Maybe I can use Hostdoc Singapore VPS (there is unmetered bandwidth optione so)
Accurate.
High bandwidth anti-ddos in Asia is not only expensive, it excludes China routes, so for China users, it's worse than ddos protection in LA for example. But if you exclude China, its getting cheaper and cheaper every year.
