Is it possible to get Softether working on a NAT VPS?

Dearest All,
I have a few NAT VPSes idling. While most LETers would not find this to be a problem, I would like to find a usage for them. I know installing OpenVPN is easy for NAT VPSes, however for my usage I need to use L2TP which is supported by Softether. I have seen someone mention IP Port Forwarding, however my limited knowledge does not comprehend how this works. I have attempted to get this working, but have not had success. Has anyone got Softether working on a NAT VPS from LowEndSpirit?

I am not willing to support the unholy practice of putting perfectly idling servers to questionable use.

It looks like you need to play with ports on iptable.
This way is better.
Be advised, please advise, kind regards,

Dearest Chuck,
I did find that before, but due to my limited brain cells I was unable to get it working. Do you have any advise for someone of below average to understand?
