    I don't know...
It could be crappy upload speed due to your ISP being congested, due to something in between being congested, or provider downlink congestion.

It could also be low HDD write speed on your VPS.

If you're using something encrypted like ssh, it may as well be cpu bottleneck.

But it may as well be MTU and MSS misconfiguration on your end.

Or it may be abnormally low tcp buffers...

And also it could be about 666 other different things. Investigate.

    Most likely solar winds.

If he used TempleOS that whole problem wouldn't exist.

TempleOS has the most reliable network stack ever.

Just so you know, the end is always nigh for a lonely man on Friday night.

Poor OP. Download speed is the last thing he should worry about.

I dry my hair on solar winds, it's great, i haven't had any hair for the past, almost 4 years, unlike for like one decade before that...
I can feel the dry fuzziness happen on my hair follicles which seep through my scull deep inside my human brain potatoe which makes it tickle, due to solar winds being polluted by HAARP and Дуга transmissions, grounded deep into my amalgam tooth fillings which i've since, ever so slightly, removed, so now they continue through my spine, deep into the potassium deposits of my body. I don't usually use a thinfoil hat, because i receive enough aluminium through the chemtrails and contrails fumigations.

But it gets better, or so they say.
From time to time the moon shines and we all know it's made out of gray space potatoes.

That's why kitties are usually associated with low quality baseline.

For your information, be advised, please advise,
    warm potatoes,

@Chuck knows, he can confirm, deny, or neutral this.

Anyhow, Friday was a bad or good, but most definitely a hard day for me, i realized something awful (again) and i am still collecting enough randomness and entropy so i can cope with.
    The insanity meter is loading...

    tl;dr: Yeah, definitely solar winds.

Should get a wider network cable, with greater diameter.

  • LunaNode seems slow in Toronto for me, also.

"LunaNode" and "Toronto" are carefully selected names that, if one rearranges the letters and knows certain druid secrets, come down to mean "lucifers preferred chocolate" or something like that. But sssshhhh!

    Was skiing ^^

@cirrus_cloud it sounds like there is a routing issue between Cogent and your ISP. If you open a ticket and give a remote IP that we can ping then we can look into it, although it's unlikely we can do much in the short term. If you ran into an issue in Montreal that made you want to switch to Toronto we could look into that as well.
