RamNode to switch from Paypal Subscriptions to Billing Agreements

perennateperennate Member, Host Rep

Hello,

We hope everyone is doing well and having a great start to 2019!

We wanted to let you know that we are changing the way we accept PayPal payments. Instead of the current one-time payment or subscription methods, we will now be accepting payments via PayPal Billing Agreements. This will simplify things on your end and ours, plus prevent unintended extra subscription payments.

You can create a Billing Agreement the next time you pay an invoice or by visiting this page in the Client Area: https://clientarea.ramnode.com/paypalbilling.php (Client Area > Billing > Manage PayPal Billing). Creating a billing agreement will automatically cancel any existing subscriptions at PayPal.

We will be canceling any remaining PayPal subscriptions on February 7. You do not need to create a billing agreement in advance, but invoices will need to be paid manually after that date until you set up a billing agreement or add a credit card to your account with us.

If you experience any problems with the new payment option, please contact us via support ticket in the Client Area.

Thanks,
RamNode

Finally, a provider willing to resolve a critical problem in its billing infrastructure instead of crying and blaming its customers : )
