  • so you are brand new provider - and your offers like much other offers here at let - why should i go with you?

    Hmm, you basically just smiled and nodded while I called out out for being scammy. There are so many red flags here that a bull would get confused.

    Would you be kind enough to perhaps address the concerns raised? LET is a community that is constantly being scammed, and your posts and replies are putting people on high alert.

  • I looks like you're on Quadra, which is good, but your LA test files aren't working:

    --2019-01-22 04:43:56-- http://107.167.5.195/100MB/100mb.bin
    Connecting to 107.167.5.195:80... failed: Connection timed out.
    Retrying.

    Retrying.

    My VPS in Dallas on a 10Gbps port has a decent speed from your Dallas test, if it's a 1Gbps port on your end (though your LA vps say 10gbps):

    [04:46][xxx ~]# wget http://96.44.142.5/speedtests/100mb.bin -O /dev/null
    --2019-01-22 04:46:32-- http://96.44.142.5/speedtests/100mb.bin
    Connecting to 96.44.142.5:80... connected.
    HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 200 OK
    Length: 104857600 (100M) [application/octet-stream]
    Saving to: ‘/dev/null’
    /dev/null 100%>[=======================================================>=========================================>] 100.00M >62.0MB/s in 1.6s
    2019-01-22 04:46:34 (62.0 MB/s) - ‘/dev/null’ saved [104857600/104857600]

    To put that in perspective, here's my VPS pulling CachFly:

    [04:51][xxx]# wget http://cachefly.cachefly.net/100mb.test -O /dev/null
    --2019-01-22 04:51:48-- http://cachefly.cachefly.net/100mb.test

    HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 200 OK
    Length: 104857600 (100M) [application/octet-stream]
    Saving to: ‘/dev/null’
    /dev/null 100%>[=======================================================>=========================================>] 100.00M >174MB/s in 0.6s

    .> reminds me of LEB

    Indeed.

    https://lowendbox.com/blog/wpfastest-com-reseller-master-reseller-hosting/ has some feedback regarding shared hosting from their wpfastest brand, from not all that long ago.

    That said ...

    # wget http://96.44.142.5/speedtests/100mb.bin -O /dev/null
    100.00M  95.7MB/s    in 1.0s

    ... from drserver in Dallas just a few minutes ago.

    it sure would be swell if this service was somehow able to straighten up and fly right and come correct to serve the huddled masses of LET yearning to purchase yet another cheap vps. But maybe I'm hoping for too much.

    EDIT2: Seeing a wide range of speeds from different locations, but usually well over 100 mbits.

    EDIT3: I suppose network speed wouldn't be my main concern at this point.

    why so slow from Psychz in LA tho? Could be something on the Psychz side, but that's not clear from the traceroute ...
