"Prices are not frozen for ❄️ Winter Deals ❄️ at @scaleway!"

    Thanked by 1exception0x876
  • It's sad how fast they degraded. I rememmber those times when online > hetzner. Now it's online < hetzner.

This is a funny way to describe their constant price hikes.

The Marketing team must be out of ideas, after price hikes to call it "Prices are not frozen"

    Fixed that for you.

    Fixed that for you.

Updated that for you again: * < hetzner.

  • Look @eol Just because you want Katie to give you a little free shell here and there doesn't mean that absolutely everyone is beneath Hetzner.. unless they like it that way.

    Hm.
    I don't want anything.
    I got too much already.

  • damn it, got one... again ...

these c2350 or with newer atoms would be perfect for 5€/month but 10€ is to high. i'm paying 11€ at oneprovider for the bigger c2750 and 8gb ram

i would settle for a cloud like hetzner or scaleway, but i need my 500+gb storage...

memo to myself: get rid of it in 6 months.

Most of you got these cyber extensions called Phones, use them for reminders. Easy.
Server needs to be killed before the 20th of the last month.

  • They increase price in every few months. Can not trust online.net. Moved to hetnzer last month due to unwanted price hike.

  • I got one. I was even able to install CentOS 6.10 on it from scratch in rescue mode.

    CPU is: Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU C2338 @ 1.74GHz (2 cores, 2 threads)
Board seems to be some Dell
RAM seems to be 4 GB DDR3 1600 MHz, but I'm not sure.
HDD is: HGST Travelstar 7K1000HTS721010A9E630 on SATA3 (135 MB/s read speed) and it's brand new
NIC is: Intel Corporation I210 Gigabit Network Connection (rev 03) and 1000 Mbps link

  • @Spacedust are you related to online or kimsufi?

  • No, I'm not.

  • 3 more available right now: https://console.online.net/en/order/server

The same reason why they want setup fees.

I believe that would be the first time in the history of LET that this is occurred.

  • Such a shame tho... Online uses to be awesome. Remember that Kidechire? Then the 4.99$ C2750... Nowadays all your hear about are the price hikes or bad (non-recurring) promotional offers. At least their public cloud is still reasonable, but until when?

  • They don't even have a public cloud offer, actually. Only some kind of weird experiment in perpetual beta, called "Scumway" or "Scaldway" or whatever
