Looking for testers for Shared Hosting + WP + Divi Builder
Hello everyone,
I am currently working on a new setup for my clients and am looking for people who would be interesting in testing that concept starting in late february (after exams are over).
What is it about?
I am planning to offer my clients the option to use Shared Hosting along with Elegant Themes reputable Divi Website builder to allow for easy website creation and offer Support for any problems they encounter while building the website. The idea is to allow a bit more tech-savy (not experts) clients who don't need 24/7 hand-holding to build the website themselves and turn to me only if any problems are encountered. This gives me the possibility of offering a cheaper monthly pricing with optional (paid) support.
What I would you guys to do is:
a) Give feedback (over the period of 1-3 months; no exact time frame) on how usable you think Divi Builder will be for clients (also giving thought to not so tech-savy clients; is it straight forward? Did you find it confusing to use etc).
b) Optional: Give feedback on Uptime/Monitoring/Reliability of the hosting if you have any measures at your disposal (uptimerobot, hetrix..) to do so.
What's in it for you?
Play around with Divi a bit. Create awesome websites
The 5 coolest websites will continue to receive free hosting of their project for as long as I keep this Reseller/Service (have it since 3 years, currently still running for half a year, not looking to cancel it). So until I either cancel the Reseller or shut down the Divi program.
If you want to host some other projects of yours on it too, I'll happily make it a 15GB SSD plan, add addon domains upon request and you can host whatever (be reasonable, don't be a dick)Everyone participating can backup&export their website creation free of charge and will be granted a Divi API key to get continous lifetime updates (as my Divi Lifetime license allows me to issue as many API keys as I want for any of my projects/clients). So basically free Divi (value: 89$/year; 249$ lifetime license).
To apply [Limited to 10 people for now]:

Hello @Ympker ! I used to work in Divi and had built one page website too, could PM you if you are interested.
I am not particularly interested in building websites, but would help in marketing stuff, have experience working with some well-known companies.
Will keep that in mind, thanks
Interesting count me in?
Post what type of project you are going to build,
what feedback you are able to give and anything else that could convince me to pick you
Sure thing Anything particular you have in mind?
Totally worth for the Divi license. I am jealous.
Best luck! 😁
Thanks mate
Hi can I be considered for this, would mainly be looking to create site for a voluntary community project I am involved with thats non profit.
Honestly, I am just curious to see how it works compared with elementor so I would just be making some sort of retro games site to test it I guess.
Nice one! As long as you don't host any roms etc Elementor is another big player in the builder market iirc?!
Does personal blog counts?
What were you going to blog about Should be okish :P
No problem @Ympker Just don't know yet how I would squeeze this opportunity in my daily schedule, but very interesting project. Keep on hustlin'!
If there's space, then would love to! Maybe I can give some valuable feedbacks
Cool
dont need it but can help as i build client sites with divi, its really easy to do and with the right tutorial videos clients can easily edit the site
Yeah Divi has like lots of tutorials available too Too much for my taste tbh. I'm more a fan of trying things out till it works the way I want to
count me in. I am currently working on a project to build a website new students registration. will try to build it with divi.
let me know If it's applicable for me or not so i can host it elsewhere if I can't host in on yours.
Count me in, i'm working on a couple of projects including a car repair workshop info site, a young-political news site. I've also a new one that slightly breaks your rules it would take uploads of images and display them back in a gallery format, it's not specifically image hosting but would enable somewhat restricted public uploads.
Check PM
Hi,
I would like to make a blog where I publish reviews about restaurants and other interesting locations in my hometown.
So far I used Google to do this (as a local guide) but the idea to use a full blown blog with rich media + other abilities sounds very nice to me.
PM me if interested.
Nice project by the way
