    The point was to do with CPU Load (being shared with x other VPS), outweighing the advantages KVM has over OVZ, IMHO. A bit obscure with the benefit of hindsight.

  • Depends on your use case I suppose. I think 2 cores is a minimum for a KVM for what I use it for. Node density could be low enough to not notice?

    Either way I agree with you regarding the load.

    This. It's a gamble akin to ISP contention ratio and too open-ended. This provider is not alone, in this respect. :-|

    You guys imagination are very high. This is pure node server, not OVZ or something in your imagination virtualized server.

    What the heck is a "pure node server"? You use KVM with dedicated resources apart from CPU, which is shared (amongst an unknown number of other users). You're not alone in this, however.
