Is QuadHost/i-83.net dead?

Is this brand still alive?

I bought a plan with them but haven't got my server yet despite being advertised as instant deployment.

Tried sending them a ticket but no response so far. i-83 user on this site was last active long ago.

I'm not sure if I should wait or take further action.

Thanks.

Come back on the 2nd January, a large part of the world essentially closes from the 25th to the 2nd.

And their minds are in Lala land until credit card bills begin to come in.

Then reality kicks in. Many will join the Nigh sect once that happens.

Reminds me of the chinese ****** yesterday that ordered at night and opened a paypal dispute 20 minutes after it, claiming he did not received his vps yet.

I would avoid ordering during this time if I knew the deployment is manual and not instant (as advertised).

I will pay my credit card on 1st Jan. In this case if things go sour, can I still chargeback and would it be harder because I have paid to issuer bank? Just want to know.

    Thanks everyone.

Just file chargeback now and get it over with.

It would not be harder. I have charged back a debit card transaction after 3+ months and received a preliminary refund the next day.

It depends on whether you're with Mastercard, Visa, AmEx, etc. but generally you have 120 days to chargeback. So don't worry too much.
