Sad, could have used a cheap Celeron or i3 with at least 4GB of RAM. :disappointed:

Would you release 9700k till March? Any news about possible configs?

Cheaper then Hetzner now, in Performance, besides the Setup.

  • No ECC, only 1 disk, network speed, bandwidth...

500Mbit is in progress, 250Mbit is not that bad, Burst was mostly up to 1000Mbit.
As long you do not push to much while on burst.

    Burst

    How does it work?
I can go beyond 250 Mbit spontaneously during the whole period till I consume, for example, no less than 300 Mbit for 12 hours, it is correct?

Ask the OVH guy, some people reported after like 6 hours burst, they got throttled to 250Mbit.

  • Exactly what a friend needed. Thanks Ninzo!

It is just for tests, but yep, better to remove it.

Btw, IP is clean, unexpectedly. It was listed only once, in a meaningless blacklist.

Hi guys - Sorry if this is a silly question, but I am a newbie. Beside "speed", is there a difference of connection "quality" between OVH Servers , OVH VPS, SoYouStart and Kimsufi ?

  • @MikePT said:

    Ok....

    [ ID] Interval Transfer Bandwidth
    [ 3] 0.0-10.0 sec 967 MBytes 811 Mbits/sec

Looks like an issue with speedtest. Overall, great server, very powerful.

Java Spring project starts within ~2 seconds vs 5 on 1650v3

Probably an issue with OVH, they have just replied:

    About your Burst,

Yes your Burst is activated, however, I see it at 250Mbps.
    You should be at 1Gbps.
There seems to be a malfunction.
I'll get back to the administrators as soon as I have more information.

Will update if resolve this issue...
