Is ZeroVM the future of cloud?

I have recently heard of ZeroVM and although I don't quite get how it works the developers present it as the next cloud hypervisor, calling the current architecture of the cloud fundamentally broken. I would like to know what your thoughts are on this technology and how will it change the cloud as we know it.

  • Off topic, but I love this extension. "Is ZeroVM the future of my butt?"

  • ZeroVM is efficient because it is made to virtualize applications

Oracle VM Server already does a good job at virtualizing applications.

the money coming from the consumer is currently locked up in virtual machines that virtualize a machine, not a specific software.

Depends on which consumer you're talking about: small businesses or large enterprises.

Well, it looks interesting on paper. I would try it when I have time.

Yes, Xen IS very good at providing multiple services to virtualize shit.
