Anybody have any experience with ASUS WebStorage?

KuJoeKuJoe Member, Host Rep

I got an e-mail a while back and picked up 1TB of storage for around $14 for the first year. I haven't gotten around to trying it out yet but I was wondering if anybody else had any experience with it. I see I can upgrade to a 2TB plan for $100/year so I'm wondering what the performance and reliability is like. Please share any info you have about it. Thanks!

  • You probably shouldn't host SolusVM on this.

  • They also have bandwidth limitations so depending on your use case it may or may not greatly affect you

    See at https://store.asuswebstorage.com/personal/?vc=W110
The original 1TB (now on offer, increased to 2TB) has these limits
Daily file sharing limit: 20 GB
Single file upload limit: 10 GB

Those bandwidth speed limits are a deal breaker for me, thanks @Kiwi83 for finding that. As for the file limits @niraeth, I'm fine with those because I don't plan on doing any file sharing and none of my files are more than 10GB.
