That's what I initially tried, but it gives an error saying subnet needs to be in x.x.x.x/zz format.
Okey, then I guess they expect full subnet here and gateway can be different than first host in subnet - it can happen, but rarely. Type
gatewayIP/24there[assuming your Netmask is 255.255.255.0 in SolusVM IP settings]
