good deal, but I'm waiting to see this again:
    $5.23/yr - DALLAS, TX / 1 vCPU / 896M RAM / 15G SSD / 1500G BW / 1 IPs
    :'(

I was lucky enough to get the Amsterdam version of that ($5.22 896MB / 15GB / 1.5TB)... which was one of the earlier deals

Too low RAM, I won't consider anything below 1GB RAM. It just hurts.

    I currently have:

    NY10GKVM96
    1 core
    384MB RAM
    22GB SSD
    100GB monthly transfer
    $4.00/year

I found a good replacement, and ordered this:

    $8.87/yr
    KVM - 1 GIGABIT
    1024MB RAM
    1 vCORE
    25GB SSD (RAID 10)
    2000GB BANDWIDTH
    ATLANTA, GA LOCATION
    1 DEDICATED IPv4

Twice the price, twice the RAM, a lot more bandwidth that I wouldn't use, and somewhat better location.
Not as good as the $8.88 that I have, which has even more RAM and disk, but I don't need more capacity on USA-West.

I remembered to TURN ON my VPN, forcing the connection over residential IPv4 instead of Hurricane Electric IPv6, so that the order completed without triggering a review ticket.
PayPal is discouraged on checkout page, but I have Google Pay.

If someone wants my 384MB for next year, I can transfer to you for free (recipient pays VirMach transfer fee), starting early November; server expires at end of November.

Hey I remember last year you cost $999 buying a "bot" machine, how's it going?

  • @dTQzBen8 hey, I remember you, you're that guy that accidentally put his password as his username!

Yoursunny is a pushup bot, and bots are not allowed to own other bots, so he had to get rid of it.

That's how I log back in this account after forgetting my password. ;)

Why there should be a username matching up a password. Think different. :p

It's a powerful machine with 20x Xeon Gold 6240 cores and 128GB RAM.
Back then VirMach still takes PayPal:

Since I bought the 999 special, @seriesn proposed to become my girlfriend 💋

Edge, Brave, Opera PC can't show the percentage discount too.

Oh my god, it seems I clicked that button on my PC browser 3 years ago and totally forgot

I use your formula on my own spreadsheet, but don't care about extra IPs or "Windows" since there's not really a license included, so those are hardcoded. I think @VirMach is gaming your algo by including extra bandwidth now ;)

Haha... honestly I don't have a formula on my own spreadsheet too, I just more or less use a feeling.

Also... my spreadsheet is super outdated... I really need to spend some time to fix it but too many things on hand need to do now :(

I've been updating mine lately. I also break down and automatically color code (from red to white to green):

    • Total VM price / CPUs
    • Total VM price / G RAM
    • Total VM price / TB xfer

That way I know how the attributes I care about compare to my existing VMs.
