What if @VirMach is Google, impersonating a different company to snoop on all of our idling activities?
Yes, you tap on the bell only when it turns white. Btw iOS doesnt seems to support push notification on browser.
It's still grey with the bell crossed out when I visit on my phone.Oh, saw your edit, darn it!
But I actually have a Telegram Bot and Channel, if you need it I can make it public, given that you have a Telegram account.
It's fine, it's not like I don't have a Telegram account or anything... Thanks for the offer!
Go for it
Just enabled it, feel free to go and join: https://t.me/VirMachBF
No it's actually okay! I'll be fine! Thanks for offering!
I have to empty the E3-HD tomorrow. Live snapshots take a lot of time
Since my Centos 7 LA OpenVZ got migrated to KVM I'm having some issues. Any idea what to do about:
root# systemctl disable firewalld
Authorization not available. Check if polkit service is running or see debug message for more information.
Selinux is disabled:
root# getenforce
Disabled
Wait is this a thing are we just using both threads now?
Reboot.
What did you expect?
@VirMach this is the VIP thread
Here are just the loyal ones.
Reboots don't solve the issue.
Solved mine :P
I disabled Selinux and restarted the server.
Now our souls are idle and wandering in this thread.
I do prefer this one ... the new one feels like just a bit much to keep up with.
It doesn't have the same history
Lulz ...
@imok did you get the 299$/y one?
I didn't notice that. It's the price of my current dedi :P
It's 1AM here and I'm migrating some servers
My SSD4G is going to stop idling after a year!
@FAT32
Error 522 Ray ID: 53e332311a25d855 • 2019-12-01 07:02:38 UTC
Connection timed out
That's very weird, it works on my side
I changed some configurations on nginx and hope it works now.
Let's use this thread as the support for that page
Oops I fell asleep for 5 hours (without even eating at all yesterday)... so much for being able to stay awake for more than 2 days as I did in my youth :O
09:30 here and guess I'm awake and ready for those $3.99 deals again
Also for when our exclusive year-long-cult-members-of-this-thread SuperGift gets announced by @VirMach :P
It's going to be a 4GB RAM, 4xCPU @3GHz, 4TB Traffic @ 10gpbs, 4xIP's, 40GB SSD for $0.44 recurring, right?
since there are at most like ~25 of us qualifying, and probably only 10 of those/us actually still here to notice it... it shouldn't be impossible? ...that's such a nice idle dream
I am #25
I am #10
I'm more than only a number!
Ok.. I'm #15
But if @FAT32 update the list, I'll probably be higher... higher.. reaching for the stars... ok sorry, I'm not fully awake yet
While migrating my servers I took down the target node
Now it's frozen but hopefully restore process is still continuing.
My one OVZ that migrated... to node NY10GKVM98 = node with supposed 10G connection...
(My VPS = 4xCPU @2.5GHz and 1.88GB RAM 1.5TB bandwidth cap)
gets fine download speeds with every test, 200Mbit-700+Mbit /sec
But seems to be capped at 4Mbit /sec max upload speed?
- the tests show it always starts fast and then 'freezes' to always end up at 3-4Mbit/sec
(even testing to the local Colocrossing closest server)
Is that something to open a ticket about and ask them to check it out - or is it normal and I should accept the limitation?
edit: sorry Mbit / sec, not MB / sec
I had 60 mb/s upload on one of mine and contacted them a couple of months back.
They told me that "The speed is not acceptable" and worked to fix it.
Personally if it was a openVZ conversion I would reinstall first before ticketing, but that is just me...
Finally got a deal yesterday. Was not that low and I don't really need. I guess it will idle for the next years ...
