Looking for a very cheap 1GB OZ VPS in Europe

Hi,

As a testing sandbox server, I require an OpenVZ 1GB RAM VPS anywhere in Europe.
I'd require about 20GB-30GB of standard HDD space.
And the network port speed requirement is of 1Gbps or higher.

I'd be using it mostly for my projects testing, and as a VPN many a times.

Price range -About $10/year.

  • maybe someone with name HostDoc can do it.

Nope, they're nowhere near my requirements. In fact, they don't deal in OZ servers.

  • do let me know if you could find one.

There's no problem with a KVM one, its just that I wouldn't need such a sophistication and open vz would help reduce the price I'd pay.

And I'm fine with the slow hard-disk. I assume that the port speed you're offering is at least 1gbps. And it would be great if we could strike a deal with open vz virtualization. :)

  • HaendlerITHaendlerIT Member, Host Rep

We do not offer openvz anymore and there is no real reason why kvm should be more expensive than openvz. Except maybe you can overbook openvz better.

  • Make it 12 EUR/yr : https://alphavps.bg/clients/cart.php?a=add&pid=206

PS: And Pray that deal is still available. Choice of 5 locations I think.

Alright. Is there a scope for further negotiation over the price? I'd in fact, not require anti ddos.

Looks like it's active. Doesn't mention about the port speed. I'll check with them thanks.

what does that mean? how much is above average traffic? 100,500,1000,5000GB?
when do you start contacting the client?

Ordered with them AlphaVPS. Waiting for them to setup the product. Looks like its manual at their end.

That page says location for Mini plan is Dusseldorf, but the Looking glass is the FRA1 one (https://lg.fra1.haendler.it/ )

Could you PM or post a test IP for DUS?

  • HaendlerITHaendlerIT Member, Host Rep

Thats correct. Our Fra 1 location is moving to Dus #1 this sunday, but it will takes a while to change everything from. Fra1 to dus1 so we already startet.

Our customers are contacted as soon as they consume significantly more traffic than the rest of the customers. At the moment this would be about 2 TB per month.
