SolusVM reporting much higher disk usage than actually in use

On one of my nodes, Solus is reporting that it's using up 22.7gb but running "sudo du -sh /" gives me a total of 12gb. Is there something I'm missing here or is something I should just open a support ticket for?

edit: fixed the title

  • What version are you running and is it on the master or a slave?

  • Oh! Sorry for the confusion, this is just a regular 'ol vm.

It calculates on reboot AFAIK. Have you recently deleted some stuff?

Yup, stuff gets put on there and deleted daily (gb of files). I'll go ahead and try a reboot but in the past, I know Solus would always have the correct disk usage. I was just wondering if there was any bigger issue at hand that I should be aware of.

  • Sure enough, a reboot fixed it. Thanks @jhadley!
