You can try openlitespeed. As far as I know, there is no integration with cPanel and Plesk. You have to set up Manual. But it works well.
Any review about - https://www.unixy.net/advanced-hosting/varnish-nginx-cpanel/ ?
I am pretty sure Varnish + Nginx won't improve speeds.
Its already boosted my server first byte and performance. But I uninstalled both after review of @eva2000
I'd seriously just go for LiteSpeed :-)
I have 16 CORE CPU - 32 GB RAM server and you know the cost for this configuration!
Litespeed only needs 2 or 4 cpu license you don't need anything more even if you have more cpu cores.
Web Host Essential or Professional license should do fine https://store.litespeedtech.com/store/cart.php
You can do thousands of requests per second on a 1-CPU license :-) plenty for most shared servers.
You could start with "Web Host Essential", worst case upgrade to "Web Host Professional" if you see the litespeed process starting to max out the single core.
I currently do 270 req/s on a box, and litespeed runs at 5% CPU (of a single core - measured in 1 sec intervals).
Those 5% include execution of comodo WAF modsec ruleset.
If you actually need to go down the road of having to offload things from apache due to resources, then justifying $36 should be rather easy.
Can try Kemal out
Not able to register for that!
Only their webserver counts which has pretty low memory footprint. Mostly its php process which don't count. So maybe 1 or 2 core license will suffice.
